Soraida Salwala, the founder of FAE’s Elephant Hospital, wrote:

MaeNoi (or Noi) was in labour since almost two a.m. on the 8th June and delivered a strong baby boy at 11.25 p.m.
Both are strong and MaeNoi is so protective of her baby since the first minute. We are all very happy.

The baby weighs approx. 80 kg.
height 86 cm
chest 116 cm
body length 110 cm
trunk 31 cm
tail 45 cm

MaeNoi, who came to be treated for bloat on the 11th December, 2009, has delivered a beautiful baby last night. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
