The Eyes of Thailand Fundraising Contest Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility: The “Win a Trip for 2 in Thailand” (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal U.S. & Canada Residents who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers and representatives of Intrepid Travel, and their respective, affiliated companies, vendors, advertising/promotion companies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Subject to all federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning the prize offered will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
  2. To Enter: individuals will donate to “The Eyes of Thailand” Film via the Film’s IndieGoGo campaign. The minimum donation is $100 per Drawing Ticket and tickets will be provided in increments of $100. For example, a $500 donation would in turn receive up to five (5) Drawing Tickets. The maximum number of tickets per person is ten (10).
  3. Timing: Drawing will occur after December 5, 2011, or after “The Eyes of Thailand” has reached its fundraising goal of USD 75,000, whichever comes first.
  4. The Winner will receive one (1) trip for two (2) on The Intrepid Travel trip Beautiful Thailand, Trip Code TTSN. The retail value of the trip is $2,650, and the trip can be viewed at www.intrepidtravel.com/ttsn.
  5. Prize may not be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash.
  6. Travel must be arranged by the winner by calling Intrepid Travel at 800-970-7299 and quoting the promotion code 6348 at time of booking, and is subject to availability and confirmation at time of booking.
  7. Travel must commence between January 1, 2012 and December 5, 2012. No extensions available. The trip must be booked and confirmed at least 60 days prior departure. Selected trip departure must have a minimum of four other passengers already booked in order for Winner to book trip.
  8. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers.
  9. Prize valid on new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing bookings. Prize applies to published itinerary. Excludes extra items such as airfares, trip kitties, travel insurance, extra accommodation, single supplements and visas.
  10. Standard booking conditions apply.
  11. By entering this Giveaway, you agree that if you win, Intrepid Travel has the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, in any media at any time, your name and/or picture as news or information for promotional purposes without additional consideration.
  12. Entry information obtained from you will be used for the purpose of allowing your participation in the Giveaway, to email and/or call the winners, and to inform you of other Intrepid Travel sweepstakes, contests, promotions or sales events, and for the purposes of mailing brochures or other promotional materials. You may have your name removed from this list by contacting Intrepid Travel at the address included in these Terms and Conditions or email usmarketing@intrepidtravel.com with the subject “unsubscribe”. We will use reasonable commercial efforts to safeguard the personal information you provide.
  13. Winner is solely responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes and fees assessed as a result of the prize. Intrepid US, Inc. will issue IRS Form 1099 to the Winner for the value of the trip. Winner agrees to complete Winner’s Affidavit and to provide Intrepid Travel with a tax identification number in order to properly complete the Form 1099.
