Five years after the #MeToo Movement captured our attention, naming and shaming predators has not prevented discrimination, harassment, violence, or abuse in creative productions. In fact, an April 2023 survey by OMPA found that 1 in 3* respondents have either witnessed or experienced something nonconsensual on professional film sets, and if they said something it was not addressed.
The missing piece is a reckoning about consent: what it is, how to request and give it, and what to do if something veers from consensual into nonconsensual.
We’ll address all of these topics and more in this four-hour workshop with Windy Borman, award-winning Producer, Director, and Certified Consent-Forward Artist.
You’ll leave this half-day workshop with a foundational understanding of consent and boundaries to make your creative productions safer for everyone–regardless of their position on the Call Sheet or the “Org Chart”.
Join us for this in-person workshop on Saturday, December 9th from 11 am – 3 pm PT.
Note: Early Bird Tickets expire on Friday, Nov 10th. Don’t wait. Secure your tickets today!
