Here are my top tips for thought leaders to put your best face forward:

Wardrobe:

  • Wear solid colors: jewel tones and pastels typically look best.
  • Wear long sleeves.
  • Avoid turtle necks.
  • Add a belt or jacket for your wireless microphone.
  • Use color or a print to stand out from the background.

Hair:

  • Keep hair soft and moveable.
  • Style hair out of your eyes.
  • Pro Tip: If you use a specific product, bring it with you to your call time.

Makeup:

  • It’s easier to add more than to wash off too much.
  • Start with a light touch, i.e. what would you wear out to brunch with friends.
